    Career Certifications and Paths

Different tracks across these levels align with varying career needs. A variety of focused Cisco Qualified Specialist certifications are available as well to show knowledge in specific technologies, solutions or job roles. We offer three levels of Cisco General Certification:

 
 
  • Associate: The first step in Cisco networking begins at the Associate level. Think of this as the apprentice or foundation level of networking certification.
    CCNA and CCDA
  • Professional: This is the advanced or journeyman level of certification.
    CCDP, CCNP, CCIP, CCSP and CCVP
  • Expert: This is the highest level of achievement for network professionals, certifying an individual as an expert or master.

  • Routing and Switching: for professionals who install and support Cisco technology-based networks in which LAN and WAN routers and switches reside.
    CCNA and CCNP
  • Design: for professionals who design Cisco technology-based networks in which LAN and WAN routers and switches reside.
    CCNA, CCDA and CCDP
  • Network Security: for network professionals who design and implement Cisco Secure networks.
    CCNA and CCSP
  • Service Provider: for professionals working with infrastructure or access solutions in a Cisco end-to-end environment primarily within telecommunications.
    CCNA and CCIP
  • Storage Networking: for professionals who implement storage solutions over extended network infrastructure using multiple transport options.
    CCNA
  • Voice: for network professionals who install and maintain Voice solutions over IP networks.

    Cisco qualified specialist certifications    
 
 
The Cisco Qualified Specialist designation certifies the expertise of experienced technical professionals, and those who have earned associate or professional-level Cisco Career Certifications. By earning specialist certifications, network professionals can enhance their core networking knowledge in technologies such as security, IP Communications, and wireless.
